Introduction
Since its inception in the year 1990, ISTD Bhubaneswar chapter, with its 326 life members, is one of the leading chapters of ISTD in eastern India. Its membership is a blend of experience and youth who have been contributing seamlessly to upgrade, knowledge and skills of human resources through various need-based training and development activities. It is a pioneer chapter in conducting seminars, webinars, conferences, to create awareness in the areas of HR activities in corporates and out of it. The chapter tries to raise standards of discourse and aspires to continue to remain aware about the technological transformation taking place in order to meet future challenges in Global business. It brings out a quarterly e. magazine ‘The Mirror’ that incorporates HRD related articles contributed by its own members that surfaces modern HR concepts with independent views. With an enthusiastic management Committee headed by a dynamic chairman, Bhubaneswar chapter continues to be innovative in spreading the essence of ISTD in this part of the country with renewed vigor.
